Why we Have this Need:
Family Promise provides the beds to the host congregation. These 14 beds will be moved each week to the next hosting congregation site.
Byer of Maine Military Cot:
The BYER OF MAINE Military Cot, is a heavy- duty cot and has a working weight capacity of 375 pounds. It has been field-tested for heavy usage by disaster relief shelters and Boy Scout groups across the years. The Military Cot is also easy to clean. Just as with any other outdoor furniture, use a mild detergent and hose, and it should last for years to come. By adding a foam pad they will make comfortable beds for our clients. (The bedding and pillows are provided by the host congregation.)
Cost: These cots are $115 each, including tax and shipping. A foam pad averages $50 each. The total for this need is $2,310.00.
All gifts are appreciated. Supporters can make a one-time gift or set-up automatic monthly gifts. Gifts may be made securely online at www.familypromisesjc.org/Donate
