The Family Promise core program is a way for communities to address the challenge of family homelessness by using existing resources. Not only does this make the program cost efficient, it also makes it more effective and scalable.
Family Promise of San Joaquin serves families in San Joaquin County.
Family Promise is not just about getting families into housing, but it is also about addressing the underlying issues of homelessness, and financial insecurity. We use existing community resources to help solve these issues. In the process, we are transforming the lives of children and their families experiencing homelessness throughout the county.
We are passionate about this because every child deserves a home, and every family deserves an opportunity to get back on their feet.
Our Mission is to help reduce homeless and support low income families in San Joaquin County to achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.
We accomplish our mission through delivering these life-saving services:
